I realize it has been a loooooong time since I’ve posted. The start of this year was insane with Covid striking (even though we’ve been extra careful for three years) and taking care of my 87 year old MIL while we were all sick, so anyway, long story short, things got delayed.
Since my last update this has happened:
The art and book design were completed by my awesome partner, Kurt Keller, and sent to Lorraine. She approved everything.
Cover and final book was designed, uploaded to Ingram Sparks, and proof copies were ordered.
We got the proof copies and sent a copy to Lorraine.
The cover looks great and the color on the interior looks good, but there’s a problem with the bottom edges having a bad cut and showing a slice of white even though we provided files with plenty of bleed This should not happen. We’ve presented the issue to Ingram Sparks and we await the response. Once we have this issue resolved, the book will go up for sale! We’re so close!
I will let you know as soon as we are able to move forward. Thanks for following my creative journey. It's been a ton of fun bringing Boomer to life. I can't wait for you all to get your own copies of the book!
